all throws + pillows by bläanks are knitted with 50% recycled pre-consumer cotton and 50% recycled post-consumer polyester. our signature recycled cotton blend yarn was developed in 1987.

the cotton comes from fabric excess that, if not recycled, would end up in landfills causing damage to the environment.

the polyester comes from plastic bottles that are converted into new polyester fibers without the use of water.

both fibers are spun to create our resilient and soft fade-resistant yarn.
